At low doses its most commonly described as being both drunk and mdma. It can be a very mellowing agent. DXM is often called the "spirit molecule' b/c of its unique experiences at higher doses to allow for very intense spiritual journies and learning. for experienced users only.
Many users report a stimulating effect at plateau 1 and low 2, others more of a relaxing sense. I think it has just to do with the persons mood and environment. Music, particularly rave music makes you want to move and be active. Classical or celtic music even newage help with the meditation which is what I used to prefer. Really its up to what the individual's tastes are.
Onset after ingestion is typically 45min to an hour. You should have an empty stomach. If you extract the powder or you buy the pure powder from a chem. supply store which is very cheap, some put it in gelcaps to ease the ingestion, but its not the best way b/c gel caps take about an hour to dissolve.
Typically it lasts 6hours with a peak of 2-3 hours.
The robowalk is where you have a slight disassociation of the mind and body control its pretty funny as you struggle to walk. At a certain range of dose, the force will move your body as if being moved by an outside force, it feels like magnetic hands moving you around and again it feels very spiritual as if a greek god was contorting you into yogalike positions. This some say this is very much like the mind body connection to harmony and is sorta like what yogis teach. Again the experience is near impossible to describe. The robowalk may be the first manifestation of the outside force as you struggle against it.
The spiritual connection between the yoga positions that you are seemingly inherently aware of without any proper training allows you to assume perfect yoga positions easily. Once those positions are achieved you fall into a deeper meditative state. A harmony is achieved. This is so strongly like some of the eastern meditation thats its mindboggling how easily it is achieved with most who have no knowledge of yogi teachings. Of course, if you are experienced you get even more spirituality out of it. Alot of people become much more interested into eastern practices and begin to read and learn about the fundamental aspects of it.
Users most dramatically report a greater sense of calm and peace with themselves after these experiences.
