Mixxing flax oil with complex carbs is ok?

I'm not sure what the question is. If it is concern about mixing fat with carbs, which some believe adds to fat storage, you're fine (that isn't true).

I hear so many articles saying it is true, and so many others stating that it isn't. So, which do we really follow? I mean honestly, there's too much going both ways that sounds scientifically backed. Someone's lying.

I've just heard from some people (yourself, BodyByFinaplix, and proteinfiend) claiming that it's okay to mix fats and carbs. I've heard many more times over, though, that mixing these two together can be a very bad thing. Or is, not can be. I've heard that from Swolecat and JohnBerardi's website. Many other times as well, but I forget when since it's been a long time.

Ah, okay. There may be other reasons, but one that I've heard for NOT mixing them is that carbs cause insulin to go up, and if you eat them with fat you have high fat and insulin in the blood, causing more fat to be absorbed into tissue. This doesn't happen because most of the fat makes it to the blood stream several hours after the carbs, plus the fat will be absorbed anyway (you won't just pee it out). There may be other reasons given as well, but this is the one I've heard!
