Milk vs water?

I know that whey will be absorbed quicker when taken with water PWO. The typical argument against taking whey with milk PWO is that milk will slow the absorption of the whey due to its fat content.

However, what if the milk is SKIM milk which has ZERO fat? How much faster would the whey actually be absorbed if taken with water instead of milk?

Does anybody really know. I am not looking for the "Take it with water because it is faster" answer guys.

It's not really ideal to be drinking milk or taking protein powders pre-workout to begin with. You don't need to get your stomach tied up digesting lactose while you're trying to work out.

you need to stop listening to the bullshit

the reason you don't want slow digesting things is because they will stress your body out and interfere with your workouts and your sleep

you know the majority of energy your body uses up everyday is simply digesting food.
