measurments

I just wanted to get some feedback on some measurments. I know that everyone is different. I Just wanted an idea of what is sorta normal in the fitness world.

My measurments go as follows ( I have gained some muscles since my last post)

Chest 34
Waist 27
Hips 36
Biceps 12-1/2
Thighs 22-3/4
Calves 14-1/2

I am 5'5" and as of last night 127 lbs and 16.8% bf

I have lost size(fat) in my thighs since I have been faithful to the workouts. I am slowly begining to get it back I was 23-1/4 before. Are my thighs too big. Sometimes it is discouraging when trying on geans.

Chinadoll -

I would never tell someone I think their thighs (or any part of their body) is too big (or small for that matter!) What do YOU think? How do YOU feel? One person's interpretation of what sounds/looks too big is totally different than another's.

Your measurements sound fine to me - you seems pretty proportional to me. But of course, I am biased - MY measurements, height and weight (I find out BF% tonight....) are almost the same as yours!

Also, those involved in bodybuilding/fitness (basicallly, people who seriously lift weights) will probably always have problems fitting in some "normal" clothes, i.e. jeans, because of their body proportions. For example, smaller waists and larger thighs.

IMO, measurements are good to use as a gauge of progress, but I think what is the most important is how you feel and what YOU see in the mirror. As long as you think the numbers are moving in the right direction, then everything is good!

I don't have any update pictures. (dig. camera or scanner) And I am sorry If I offended any one with my question. I have seen many pictures of Gladiola Spats etc and they look great. Spats you have awesome legs. I concentrate on my lower body alot. Maybee it is because I love leg day. I just don't want my lower body to consume my upper body.

Just done my measurements for the first time in 12 months;

Quad:22" - same
Calf:15" - up 1"
Waist:30" - up 1" (this is where my fat goes on)
Hips: 36" - same
Chest:40" (slight expansion/contraction measured above breasts but not including breast)- up 2"
Shoulders: 45" - up 3"
Biceps: 13.75" - up 1.25"
forearms: 11" - up 1"

Same weight as this time last year - 148lbs, 19% bf. Don't know what it is about this time of year but I always seem to be heaviest with high bf, towards the end of summer I find it easy to lean down to around 16% bf. I am hoping to reduce to 10% this year so I can look towards a comp. next year.

Just wondering what everyone elses shoulders measure - this is one bit of me which really gets big, just wondered how it compared.

5'4" did deca, liked very much. Moved on to try test cyp since I had read so much about it here. Good gains, some sides but nothing I can't handle.
