low starch diets?

lwgy

i was told to get on a low starch diet for a condition i have. i am curious as to how this will affect my growing (from lifting). im 29 190 lbs. i know starch is often found in carbs, so by cutting starch im afraid that i'll have to cut carbs and therefore lose size. any thoughts?

also, if anyone can recommend food that is low in starch but good for keeping size and growing, that would be appreciated. i would imagine that meats would would be a likely source, but i cant eat only meat all day, every day.

also, does anyone know if protein powder contains a lot of starch? it is not listed on the list of ingrediants, but then again, starch doesnt seem to every be listed on the list of ingrediants for any type of food.

starch is found in complex carbs bro
alot of people here are on keto diets which would eliminate the starch problems somewhat :)
no there's no starch in protein powders to my knowledge

it would seem that protein is the most important food for muscle and stuff like chicken, fish etc has next to no starch

carb sources like breads, potatoes etc will be full of starch, eliminate them. Stick to veggies like brocolli, spinach etc for carbs
