Loose skin tightening after weight loss

Hey bros

Ever since i joined April of last year, i have been fighting a war against the fat. I began at 247 and now rest at 195 with a great deal more muscle (im guessing 20-40 lbs, around 30 or so) after lifting hard for the last 2 years. I dont have a gut, but i do have a lot of loose skin around my sides, it literally saggs.
Does anyone have ANY ideas on how to tighten up? I will start tanning. I HOPE that i dont have to resort to a tummy tuck cuz the skin wont regain its elasticity.

try using more reps and lighter weight in the area you want to tighten.. make it aerobic at times....RADAR

Is the skin fatty or just extra skin that has been stretched?

bigrand,

Increase fat intake- whole fats(nuts etc) omega 3's(flax oil).

It will take some time- what may help is diluted peppermint oil in aloe or cream base( this is purely anecdotal but people using the carrier solution or yohimburn have noticed a tightening of the skin) while this effect is temporary it will stimulate the skin and should help with elasticity.

peace

Cool Mac,

ill eat more good fats. i will also use high concentration glycolic acid peels (GA stimulates collagen synthesis).

Hey big I'm looking at the same prob. Mainly the love handles and also just to the right and left under my bellybutton I can grab a handfull of skin. After my cycle is ended at some point I want to go in for lipo. I'm just afraid of all the hard work that might get lost during the downtime of not working out.

You might want to re-think the lypo. I just saw a documentary on TV where they showed the actual procedure. The f***kin' tear you UP! After seein' that, I would NEVER have that done. Even the results afterward were not noticable enough to make it worth it.

The guy who had it done was happy with the results, but said if he knew what he would go through, he would have never done it.

From what I've seen in here, DNP would be safer and healthier.

It's your choice, just thought I would share that with you.

This sounds wierd, but...

Buy some Vitamin E oil (or break open capsules) and rub it on the areas you want to tighten up.
