Left bicep is taller and slightly more defined than right?

I just noticed this :( . My left bicep is taller and slightly more defined than right. I'm right handed and I workout both arms equally...or at least I thought. What would be some good methods to correct this?

Don't know. My right arm is actually slightly bigger but when I hold them out straight in front of me my left bicep has a nice arch while the right one is much more flat. Kind of weird.

My left bicep is a lot taller and more defined than my right one. What is the rest of your program like?

Also guys- do you think genetics would play any role in this? Sorry to kind of invade, but i have the EXACT same thing as Pitt in that i use my right hand for everything, but my left has always been bigger even before i started lifting

it could be a variation in how you lift things. Since you know your right arm is stronger you may hold things in a way to favor one arm to another. Such as, one elbow will bow a little more than the other, your able to feel elbows or your form in check more than the other. Like when i do dips i tend to lean on my right arm and have it angled a little more towards my body than my left when goin up and havnt really noticed it til it started hurtin cuz of the pressure i put on it to favor it.

these are just what i think, no backing behind it tho.

also sometimes you could consciously or subconsciously favor your weaker hand cuz you know its your weaker hand and your trying to build equalism

Thank you for the replies. I must be a genetic freak, because even though I'm right handed my left arm is stronger. But I'm glad to know its not just me with this issue:).

its completely normal, geneticaly our arms are differently structued, if you take a good look at both arms and hands youll notice their both slightly different in many ways

its just genetics, my left bicep has more definition in it rather as my right has more mass

same goes for my shoulders, its just genetics, u are perfectly symetricaly structured

others thing sot take in factor is which arm you use more, since this will cause differnce muscle fiber compostion

theirs also daily factors to take into place, aswell as lifting techniques snd trsaining, e.g the way u hold the barbell when you deadlift will effect the structure of ur bicep since ur holding it with a different grip

theirs to many factors that come into play here, in the end of the day thiers very little you can do to change a slight difference in ur arms

YES. I was going to say the same thing. If you look at any human body, the right and left sides are always slightly different. One ear higher, one eye higher, etc. This has to do with the embryo being formed in halves, or something like that, as I recall learning in biology.

Nice post. I always used to think it was genetics until a lot of people started telling me otherwise- it seems to make the most sense though.

thanks.
