Hmmm, I"m doing some of the same things Jen, but some very different. Last time, I dropped sodium Wednesday and I think that was too soon and it backfired. This time, dropping it Thursday night/Friday morning. I added extra sodium this week. I'm doing sweet potatos and rice cakes for carbs Friday, and also doing the rice cakes with pb & jam before the show. It's all a crap shoot really, because you don't know how you will respond to something until you try it.
