That's what they warned us about as a Psych major. Basically, don't read the symptoms for all the DSM conditions and think it applies to you.

That's prolly cause the DSM IV is total bullshit....the majority of people diagnosed with a mental illness are classified as "other" which means they don't fit any criteria. Calling the social sciences the "soft" sciences only diminishes the reputation of the real sciences; The "social sciences" are primarily opinion based.
