Most novices lift with arched back, wich gives extra ~20% weight but is VERY dangerous. Go straight!
BTW, I just squated 270 lb on eight times (deeper than paralel) without even a belt, but I cannot bechpress more than 170 lb - that's all that fucking genetics![]()
my back was pretty straight. trust me, if my back was arched it would have pulled me either forward or straight back down. 405 can sling 160 around like its nothing.
