Just thought I'd share my news with you guys....

Way to go, that's pretty impressive!

Goddamn, man. 160 with a 405 dead? AND THE SECOND TIME EVER?! Either you're extremely hardcore, or a no-good, pile of garbage liar ...

Sounds like you are a natural born puller. Get rid of those gloves, grab some chalk and get into powerlifting. The best powerlifters in the world, are always, always the best deadlifters.

I am jealous, I can barely pull more than that, and I am a whole lot heavier than you.

was it trap-bar deadlift, or just a standard bench press bar?
I find trap bar to be much easier to do higher weights, and i wish my stupid gym had one!

Thats outstanding bro. Jesus, I weigh 100 lbs more than you and I've only pulled 110 more than that.

Percentage wise, I would have to pull almost 7 plates to match that.

dickhead:doublefi:

I have been to Pineapple Devil's gym and did deadlifts there. They don't have a trap bar there...lol.

I think that he is built to deadlift...small waist and long arms. Give him time and a few tips on how to buid up his deadlift...and he will easily pull 500.

Believe me, I'm extremely surprised myself. I never thought that I was that strong, but I guess if you compare it to my weight its ok. I bench 260 which is 100lbs over my body weight and i'm told that is pretty good too. My lower back is a little sore this morning but thats expected from a good workout

I'm lifting 350 lb now with body weight about 155 lb, so I'm also a little bit jelous :).
BTW, do you lift with straight or arched back (lower back especially)?
Most novices lift with arched back, wich gives extra ~20% weight but is VERY dangerous. Go straight :D!
BTW, I just squated 270 lb on eight times (deeper than paralel) without even a belt, but I cannot bechpress more than 170 lb - that's all that fucking genetics
