not to steal bunny's cute little guy, but its so cute I wanted to steal it anyway -- big hugs jen!
Its really humbling when we spend so much time pushing weights & measuring ourselves in the gym, but when one of your basic bodyparts doesn't work the right way & you have to work back to 'normal', its really amazing what we can do. After I finally got my lower back fixed last yr I started doing some core strength training and I couldn't even balance myself on one of those BOSU balls w/o my legs shaking violently. Two months later I was doing 185 lb DLs. But that's why the human body is such a totally awesome thing and it just keeps showing us how resiliant it is & what we can accomplish w/ it!
Anyway, coming back w/ a vengeance! (And a few apple-tinis!)

Had my 4th post-surgery session of PT today - and I had to or got to use weight for my straight leg raises and knee-on-a-ball-leg-extensions......A WHOPPING 3 POUNDS!! And it was tough.....talk about humbling....
And (with some assistance) I got to 110 degress flex but I'm still lacking 4 degrees on straightening - need to work on that.....
Got to get back on my eating plan next.......
Edit: Still no update on the weight restrictions on my leg - so still on crutches for now.....

It's my Dr.'s decision (the orthopedic surgeon)......Noel (the head PT) is confused as to why I'm still on that - although due to the bone bruise & meniscus damage - to him, it makes sense.....Noel left a message for the Dr. yesterday - so I'm hoping when I go in tomorrow, they will have an answer....
Oh and I was able to get 4 spins around on the stationary bike yesterday - not all at once - but I pedalled 4 times around, backwards!! yay!
