Good start with making a meal plan, Jens! First days are always tough because you don't know what your schedule is going to be like. I packed my meals for my first day at my new client and then my manager ended up taking me out for lunch....but you can always move your meals around as needed.

I just finished portioning out tons of turkey (big Jenny O sale at Acme this week) into 4 oz zip lock bags myself. And then I cooked up some fish for tomorrow's meals and made salads.

Good luck for the new job tomorrow! :rose::bigkiss:

what he said! :rose::rose::rose: Now that we're both packing meals during the day, I'll be checking into your log even more for ideas. So far, cottage cheese/fruit, oatmeal/cereal with milk/eggwhites mixed separately in a water bottle & grilled meat/fish/poultry + salad/veggies + slice of bread/whole wheat crackers is what I'm doing.

I work in a 40-storey huge building but there is NO refrigerator on any floor because the cafeteria is catered by Aramark and they have an inside agreement with the company. No refrigerators = more people using the cafeteria. Thankfully, the temperature within the building is like an ice box, so my meals have been okay. I eat them in order of perishability
