Ipod vs. 30 gig Nomad

I got a 30 gig Nomad mp3 player for christmas from my bros. I really want an Ipod so I'm thinking of returning it to best buy and paying the difference, my bros don't care. Before I do that though I want to hear some reviews on the Nomad, maybe it's worth keeping over the Ipod. One con on the Ipod is that it doesn't play .WMA's, almost my entire library in in .WMA format so it would men re-ripping or converting tons of files, the Nomad can play .WMA's.

Do you have an Ipod, what are your likes and dislikes?

damn that thing looks sweet, dont see what the big advantage of an ipod would be

I used to have a samsung mp3 I was always getting new parts for it, the clip broke, I went thru 5 sets of hphones, the case fell apart the battery stopped charging. Before that I had a sony that lasted about a month. I got an iPOD today for Christmas and the thing is absoluetly sweet.
The funny thing is they cost about the same but my old one held 35 songs whereas my ipod hold 10,000 its sturdy as hell and looks hella sharp, its easy to use, goes loud too.
looking at them side by side its like a beat mustang next to a shiny new Ferrari.

GO FOR THE IPOD...you'll be glad you did
