Insulin coma

Hi,

I have not been on the boards in a while, I have been training for a PL meet. I was up to 322 in jan. I was using insulin and went into a coma, I was in it for a month and I am feeling better. My weight is down to 235 lbs now. It is dangerous stuff, I am through with it.

I'm so glad you're okay!! That's scary stuff. Are you starting to train again or taking it easy?

I didntrealse that powerlifters were into insulin. Figured it was just good for size (and I guess some leverage). Not that I want to try it........some things just weren't made to be messed with.

were you using to gain or lose? did you get your high GI carbs right after? just wondering why this happened

I was told by some top powerlifters the 3 hormones that contol muscle growth are testosterone, GH, and insulin. Insulin will get you very big and increase your recovery. I was using about 20 iu 3X/day. You have to eat alot of carbs. Insuling forces gylcogen and aminoacids into the muscle, so you can preload the muscles before a workout and then increase your recovery after. Insulin will put alot of mass on you. I am taking training very light right now, I will probably wait another month before I jump in full force.

20iu each incjection? or the whole day.

the most i have heard reccomended is 10
