I am costantly hungry, I feel the need to eat all the time. I want to know if there are any foods that will keep me full. Here is what I tend to eat. Breakfast- Apple juice, bowl of cereal and non fat yogart/ non fat cottage cheese w/ fruit, Lunch- Foot long subway subclub no cheese no mayo, power bar, fruit Dinner- chicken rice/pasta, steamed veggies, salad, always followed by icecream/ cereal/ cottage cheese. I'm staying lean so it's not the weight I'm worried about it's the $$$ I'm eatting.

You're eating too many carbs and too much fruit in my opinion

I would substitute some of the fruit for low gi carbs like oatmeal or beans since they also contain alot of fiber that will keep u full

Are u drinking alot of water? That will help fill you up.

Are you eating enough calories to meet your needs? Perhaps you're not eating enough and you're keeping lean by eating less that n need.

Assess your daily calorie needs and see if you're meeting them well.
Try to stay away from refined carbs and sugars (dunno what cereal you eat) but it screws with ur blood sugar which could be keeping u hungry.

I drink lots of water, I do eat oatmeal as a snack sometimes and my cereals are rasin bran, special k red berry. I'm gonna asses my calotic intake. Thank you

Special K is quite High GI isnt it?
Also i'd cut out the rasin bran
if u must have cereal then you should eat all bran/fiber one or oatmeal

Try not to eat too many cereals though
Get most of your carbohydrates from Green Vegetables, Beans and cruciferous vegetables.

Parabellum has a point. Make sure you're getting a healthy amount of EFAs such as Flax Oil, Fish Oils etc

Split it so you have half of your meals that are protein+carb meals and 3 meals which are Protein+Fat (This seperation theory has worked wonders for me)

a good website to check out regarding diets and calorie calculations is www.johnberardi.com

I have been following the don't diet diet for the past 9 weeks and lost 2-3% bodyfat in the process.

Good luck

Good point human Shell, didnt notice the meals were so infrequent

yeah deffo spread ur meals accross 6 times a day. This has been the best thing for me to not be hungry! it helps so much when trying to get and stay lean!
