Why are you worried?!

I have been trying to get around 1400 on non-lifting days and around 1500 on lifting days. Well...today was a non-lifting day. Plus my fat intake was astronomical yesterday!! ahhhh I don't mind a healthy amount but WOW!! :worried:

Good job 1560!!!! And you are freaking??? Man I have no idea what 1560 calories would be like... I think I would feel like I was starving myself. Well in due time :) What is your cutting goal? Sorry if you listed that previous. I guess what is the main difference between this cutting cycle and the last time you cut? Or have you ever really cut before?

Not sure if I have any cutting goals set in stone right now, I have several goals that I would like to achieve...biggest one is being able to reach 9-10% BF. Do you think that this is pretty doable (give my location?) - be honest please! :qt:

As far as calories go, I have been trying to get around 1400 on non-lifting days and around 1500 on lifting days. To answer your question, I haven't really ever cut before...SO, any and all advice is VERY welcomed!!

Given your location I'm sure you can cut... I know how the chow halls are set up and I don't see a reason even if you ate in there because they pretty much have all the stuff (Meat and veggie). Then again are you Army?? I was Air Force so we had the best chow halls. Their meat is usally cooked in oil or butter though. If you can find tuna packs, then you have protein powder, Broccoli/spinach, Plain oatmeal (I remember they served that at breakfast but it was like soup), I think you can even get canned chicken, Beef jerky, just trying to think of all the meat sources. Jerky as some higher levels of sodium though.... I'm sure they have spices there if you are allowed to go off base for you to spice up the food.
In other words I think it is duable you just need to pre-plan. Not sure what your exact job is and if they allow food by the computer terminal if you are on one, but you could always keep your food outside and run to the bathroom and eat your food on the way there and back (I used to do that).
If food isn't the issue then it would be left down to your motivation and if you would be willing to do cardio more often rather then drop your calories lower. It seems mentally easier for you to drop calories then to add another cardio session in. Do what you can!

Thanks Treil - I am actually a contractor and not in the military. I have been eating very clean now since I got back from my R&R (tomorrow is cheat meal though!!). I do work at a computer and I eat about 4-5 of my 6 meals at the computer - hehee! I am confined to base, so I can't leave. I would rather do more cardio then have to drop my cals, considering there isn't much room for them to go down, so that is my plan for now. I will take it one step at a time, eat clean, workout hard and see where I end up. :-) Nelms and I are hoping to be home in time for your show...we are really excited about it (though no promises yet) :)

Just curious...why do you want to be 9 or 10% Are you competing? That is REALLY lean...and not healthy to maintain.

On another note, that 3:30 meal looks gooooood. :p

Heehee - I dont' want to maintain there. I am just the type of person that loves challenges and I would love to accomplish it and say I did it - sort of prove it to myself! As I realize it is not healthy to maintain, I would come up to about 12-14% for maintenance! :qt: ;)
