Hi.

This has probably been posted before but I could really use some help. I sit at a computer all day long and I am getting a large stomach and large love handles.

I am 21 years old, athletic, used to run 40+ miles a week, 5'10", 175-180 lbs, skinny wrists/forearms/ankles, 32 inch waist, and male.

I am the typical commuter college student. Work 40 hours a week, go to college full time, and have very little spare time.

I eat very poorly. I rarely eat breakfast and usually eat lunches like cheesesteaks or chicken lomein....my dinner is usually a salad and chicken (if mom hooks me up) otherwise I dont eat dinner.

A year and a half ago I had biceps twice the size I have now, I had a hard stomach and barely any fat on my body. Now I have a small lovehandles and a small but gaining gut.

What should I do? Please help me.

Put some barbell/dumbell weights and a bench on where you work with your computer ... that's what I did ... very happy with results ... when you're tired of scripting and programming .... rest ... and do some curls, bench press, military press, and .... that shoud clear your head ... and do the codes again.

Damn! You need some major help with that case!

Well I dunno if you got time at nite, but before you go to bed, prepare everything to eat the next day. Buy box loads of tuperware, and plastic forks and spoons. Bring your food to work, as cafeterias don't have the best foods. It's important to eat...general eating as well as clean eating. You're not gonna get anywhere you want with no breakfast, a cheescake, and an occassional dinner. Take a break from that computer every couple hours and eat!

Do some research about cutting on this board...there is lots of info on that. Develop a diet for yourself, post it here, and we'll help you out with that.

40 hours a week? So I assume you're working the nine to five. Depending on how far your commute, you should try to get some cardio in the morning. You definitely have time at nite for a nice workout.

Just read up on this board. You'll find a lot of info, advice, and motivation to get your ass up. Keep us updated on your progress. Give us weekly progress on your weight, bf %ages, measurements on the waist, arms, thighs, etc.

Eat right, train hard, good luck!
