The owner of that club "OG" as it's called in the local area is owned by a greek man named Pete Illiadas, his nephew Nick runs it, or did when I used to hang there.

OG used to be a one story buliding now there is a huge second floor with stages everywhere.

OG, has always had a male review, they are in the back of the club, in what used to be the VIP area.

The males don't dance with the girls, they dance for women/men. Having both on stage is prohibited by law in most every state. The San Fran and Chi areas used to have "sex shows" behind glass 30 years ago.

I gave an estimate of starting a club in a small town. If you want to do it in a larger city, forget it. Unless you have deep pockets and can buy an existing club most cities now have a no more SOB licenses policy. Here in DFW ya couldn't get a club for less than 7mil which the Platinum II sold for last month. I owned 3 clubs in HNL, they are a giant pain in the ass. Unless you can be there most of the time everyone steals as much as they can, the local rif raf comes in, the pimps try to threaten you, the cops do stings, the local do-gooders picket, the taxes and insurance go up every 1/4.

So good dream, I doubt you could handle it, there are too many things you will never learn, based upon reading your posts. I know most of the major SOB owners in the US. I would suggest that you go to Mexico and pay a Chief of Police a couple grand a month and rent a small bar put some cots in the back. Thailand would chew you up and spit you out.

Your employees, from the cashier to the doormen to the managers to the general manager............all will skim you silly. It's all soft money that rolls through there.........too easy to scam. There are so many different scams that can go in a place like that it's ridiculous. Everyone just assumes everyone else is getting their hands greasy so they do it themselves. And I worked in a club where the mob owners would periodically come in........which is why I never stole shit. But everyone still did........it was like almost expected. I dunno, Uncle Joey and Uncle Sam were serious customers so I kept my ass clean........

Having owned a few and been a partner in a few and having dated featured dancers for a long ass time, plus I know the fellows that own more SOB's in the US and Asia than any other group.... I kinda know the deal.

There is anywhere from 20-175k a weekend in some clubs. The liquor costs about 60cents a beer and a buck for a shot (depending on which liquor) so when you have a $5 or $6 dollar bud light there is a ton of money to be made. We have the bar till covered with cameras, the servers can get a drink and take them if it's really busy, when that happens a few times a night that is 300 bucks per server lost $ there are 15 servers. Do the math. The cover, $10 bucks the manager has the option to "allow" regulars free admission. He gets toked 10 bucks. 25 times or more a night. Then there is more. The day manager counts the day till, the afternoon manager counts the till before the night shift. The nioght managers count the till at 3am.. Tired usually drinking shots by then with the "favorite" girl. 30 or 40k on the table in 1's 5's 10's to 100's easy to count a few grand in 20's and 10's then the 50's and 100's are easy to just pick a pack or two for "all their hard work" 10k in 100's 5 k in 50's. a couple of those each weekend makes the night managers work as hard as possible to keep their jobs. And since the "favorite" is always in front of the camera no record is found when the tapes are reviewed.

Now any kid that says, hey I am gonna open a strip club has to be blowing smoke up his own ass cause he can't afford a new car much less a couple million to "start" a titty bar. As I said before he needs to run to a border town in Mexico and grease the Chief of police, rent a bar serve booze and put some cots in the store room. That is as close as he can ever come to a SOB.
