I need an inexpensive diet to lose fat whilst gaining muscle

Hey Guys.

I'm 6ft and 200lb. Good amount of muscle but fat on my abdomen and hips that definitly needs to go.

I need a decent but inexpensive meal plan for a day, I seem to be eating alot of eggs lately. I have good whey powder so that can be incorperated in the diet. Would also be willing to buy protein bars/casein protein and possibly supplements/anabolics if anyone thought that was necassary.

Hope to hear some good ideas and theories :)

Save your money on the protein bars etc. Get yourself a decent meal plan (loads of examples on this forum) People will say its hard to do both and correctly so there is only 1 guy on here who i have seen make massive gains and cut BF at the same time. But if you are after good sources of proteins etc there is a post on page 2 of this forum and it has a list of good proteins and carbs that you can put into your diet. Have a read though that and check ou the meal plans try and put one together and post it up and im sure there will be alot of people willing to help tweak it.

cotco- it doesn't get much cheaper than costco eggs, tuna, and frozen broc
they also have good deals on bulk chincken and steak as well

Protein is your costly item. Cheapest protein sources in order from the cheapest: fat-free cottage cheese, eggs (yolks are a good source of fats), canned tuna, frozen bulk pack chicken breasts. Potatos in 50 lb bags, brown rice in large bags, old fashion oats bulk or in big bags, dried beans in bulk or on sale in cans, whatever veggies are on sale, or check the frozen isle for veggies.

forget about gaining fat at the moment if you want to gain muscle.

Here is my mass diet plan now and after going from 8 to 7 and now to 6 meals a day i found this diet easiest to follow consistently

1 - 2 eggs, 6 egg whites (egg beaters whites)
1 cup old fashioned oats

2 - 8 ounces ounces chicken, one small yam and brown rice

3 - 8 ounces tuna sandwich, tilapia, salmon, stribass, flounder, whitting fish, or sea bass and brown rice with canned tomatoes

Post-workout day - meal - 2 scoops whey isolate and 1/4 cup dextrose

4 - 8 ounces steak round, strip, or ribeye, potato and corn

5 - 3 scoops MLO milk and egg protein - 60g protein

6 - 3 scoops MLO milk and egg protein - 60g protein

thats 380g of protein with the post-workout and 340g without and about 200g carbs and 100g fats. im only 17, 5ft 7 and 155 lbs so you need much more calories.

Y.I.M. may be fine with that much food - age and stage is such that natural test will be at an all time high = raging metabolism!
