I wanted to know the situation with paying compliments to a girl you like, but not to the one you fancy but her friends.

This is going to sound bizarre. Basically, the girl i like is never around in uni. I see most of her mates. I was just wondering if i'm chatting to her mates, and want them to maybe go back and say "oh, you won't guess who thinks your hot", something along those lines.

For isntance, saying something like..."oh, i think your mate/she is very pretty" "I think she's really nice"

imo that's a 50/50 hit or miss if you do that. If you're in middle school i'd say go for it though!

if this she is not around much then this may be a good option
i wouldnt just come out and say your friend is hot,have a lil convo with her friends and acquire about her friend and make sure to give the suggestion that you think shes attractive ,hopefully the message willl get back to her ,if you do see her i wouold just own up and go talk to her directly
