I just read the birth control thread

and it raises some questions for me
I have had irregular periods for years, i even had a D and C in 1999 because they couldnt find anything wrong with me and decided to do that anyway. it helped for a couple of months but then i was right back to bleeding in between periods, and now instead of having a period every 28 days, im lucky if i reach 20 days
i do not want to go on the pill because im nto good on bcp's. I am jsut tired of having irregular periods

If you are dieting too much that can cause irregular periods from what I understand. Your body is lacking something.

Klu, I have had the same problem.In fact my cycle was opposite.I would bleed for the 20 days and have 8 days without bleeding.
I suggest to you that you go to the docs and get a nice Bc pill.I know it sucks but I did it and I was only on it for about 9 months if that and my cycle became regular.
The docs told me that my hormones were all messed up. Taking the pills fixed my hormones. I have not had a problem since then! It is great. I went right on schedule and had it about every 27 days and I also did not bleed as heavy. Once I got off the pill I had no problems and I stayed regular

the thing is, i dont bleed that much
soemtimes seiroulsy i think im going thru early menopause. my mom started when she was 36 and im 36
when i get insurance im getting a work overhaul and getting everything fixed
