I gave them up in 1997, because I discovered that the incline was a superior movement for OVERALL pectoral development. Since I have given them up, my pectoral development has improved tremendously.
Those are the ones. My ass gets in the way and the bar ends up draggin up the back of my legs, or across my calves on the way down. I have to twist my back to clear my ass. Uncomfortable and unsafe. Seems to screw more up than it benefits for me.
I have heard a few guys in here say they have done them, and they worked great for them. Don't figure.
upright rows are an absolute bitch
whether it is just bad flexibility but they used to tear away at the rotator cuff when bringing the bar above the chest.
