How much fat would I need to lose?

Hey guys, I was just wondering what you guys think of my body fat? I just started dieting April 1st and hoping to be lean as soon as possible. I haven't gotten my body fat checked but I'm thinking I'm around 17% maybe. I'm doing 2 sessions a day, cardio and weight training separate times. I'm pretty active so I'm taking around 2600 calories right now to take it slow. After first week, I lost about 4 pounds. This is what my diet looks like on a regular day. Oh, and I'm 5 6', 185 now.
Meal 1 - protein shake, 2 servings unflav oatmeal, 1 tbs flax seed oil
Meal 2 - 2 eggs, 3 eggs whites, 2 slices of whole wheat bread
Meal 3 - chicken breast, brown rice, and sweet peas
Meal 4 - postworkout shake - 25g dextrose, 1 banana
Meal 5 - can of tuna, sweet peas, 1 slice of bread
Meal 6 - 1 cup of cottage cheese, 2 tbs peanutbutter

What do you guys think? Is this a good diet? I'm not cutting carbs at all yet, just going below maintenance calories till weight loss comes to a stop then slowly decrease carbs and up the fat.

The diet is not bad bro. Have you added any fat loss supps yet? If not, I would hold off on them until your diet stalls. Look into carb cycling for when this dietary approach no longer is working.

Thanks.. i posted this on another site and a guy was saying how 2600 calories is too much for my weight but i was thinking to take it slow so that my metabolism can keep up so it won't be as hard to keep steady losses of fat. What do you think? I see people go to extremes when dieting on there first week going down to like 2000 calories right away, but i personally believe if i take it slow taking off 100 calories a week till i get to around 2200 then start carb cycling. Is this a better idea? I'm trying to keep a pace of 2 pounds a week even though first week i lost 4, prolly due to less water weight since less carbs then before.

This is perfect bro. Take it slow and preserve all the lean mass you can. You look like you have quite a bit of LBM so you will look great once you lose some BF. I suggest eating three days at 500 kcal under maintenance and then every fourth day at maintenance kcal. This will keep your metabolism fired up. Don't be scared of carbs either. Lean protein, starchy carbs, and fibrous green veggies with every meal except before bed. Take your time and you will get the results your after. Also don't add any fat burners until your fat loss starts to plateau. People start their thermos right off the bat and don't give their diet enough time to work.

Thanks for the advice man. Sounds like a good plan. As for cardio, I've been doing 6 sessions of LISS a week usually post workout or weight training in the morning with cardio at night. So when weight loss comes a halt, should I replace 1 or 2 cardio sessions a week with HIIT? I've done my research on mostly everything i could think of, just like the advice of others still.. and i haven't taken any fat burners yet but i will eventually. Got 2 bags of goodies with all different samples of fat burners (Arnold classic is great haha).. If i were to start them, you think i shouldj ust take before training sessions or on a regular basis throughout the day like they recommend on the bottles?

HIIT three times a week actually burned up some of my leg mass on this current cut/diet I am on. I would do LISS and maybe try one or two HIIT sessions PWO if fat loss stalls. Just don't go overboard with the HIIT. Do it on your high calorie days and have a proper PWO meal after.

I am personally saving the HIIT until I bulk again and currently doing LISS for 30-45 minutes 6 days a week.

I would take the fat loss supps as per the directions. Just make one of the doses fall pre workout if possible.

I know you got some freebies, but check out the Shred Stack from AGX. http://www.agxsports.com/ LipoStim + Lipoflame is pretty fucking ridiculous.
