How motivated are you to work out?

But anyway ...

My biggest challenge is getting enough sleep to get up for AM cardio. The training after work is almost literally the reason I look forward to going to work. I LOVE going to the gym. Even if my lifts are off -- I'm still discovering the increasing range & strength of my lower back. Even cardio is fun. Honestly I feel so much more control over my life when I am in the gym regularly.

y'all dont understand the shape my joints are in - lol

nice.....Kleenex stuffing, nasal dripping sweat pouring hottie

WOOOHOOOO

That's nothing...... I bet I know people MUCH worse (ie. can't really stand up straight, pops & creaks every movement, water on the kness / elbows all the time...... pic Mr. Burns)

I definitely wouldn't say it was attractive, but at least I'm catching up :)

I'm highly motivated to keep going. I wake up in the morning thinking about working out... as the day goes on I get restless till I can get to the gym. I think about how I may do things differently this week.. or have my lap around the gym in my head since I go at the busiest time. So I know what to do just in case someone is hogging the machine I need. I have like Exercise ADD (EADD) if I don't work out.. I feel the urge and compelled to keep going. It's hard for me to sit still and take a rest day. Speaking of this I need to go take a walk around the building I'm anxious just to get this day going to get there..... :roadster:

I'm not a morning person -- I'm very tired in the morning & it takes me a while to get moving..... However, when I go to the gym I hit it!!

BTW Shadow -- how old are you? I'm 35 & am feeling it in my joints too.....

...will be there in a few months

my gym workout is about the only stable thing in my life at the moment - it's keeping me sane. Due to unfortunate circumstances and just my good ol' bad luck I have ended up moving houses several times - once on the eve of xmas eve & now with 7 days notice just as I was getting settled. I am single & do not drive so it's quite a big deal.Latest move is a box room, which was the only thing I have been able to find in the time I had, which is like 4 miles away from the gym!

I had just decided to do a figure comp so I suppose the extra cardio I will do cycling to the gym & to work won't do me any harm!I just want to be settled & have enough room to practise posing!I also seem to end up with less stuff & money every time I move.At least I know where everything is in the gym.

I'm sure you all do this but I supplement every day with Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM, and SAMe. I noticed my knees were bothering me the last few years because of running, and have absolutely no pain in them since I started supplementing with that. I just buy it all in one pill at GNC called Triflex. It really does make a difference.

Yep, it helps...... I just have to remember to take it.... I'm bad with that....

I can honestly say i jump out of bed every morning and can't wait to get to the gym...

What about everyone else?.. Just curious..at first it was hard.. when i started out i dreaded it.. even wrestled with not going.. but now.. i have trouble taking a day off.. :qt:

I'm the SAME way. If I miss more than a day, it's so much harder for me to go back. I try to make it a point to go every day to at least sit in the hot tub.

*Love my gym being 1.5 miles away*
