WHat does everyone do to improve your 225 for reps??, I remember in the days when I was tested on it, on my light days when bench was trained I would do 3 sets of 225 all with the same reps and I would add a rep to each set every week, I never did em to total failure cause it was a light day of course, then 2 weeks before being tested I would do a rep test with 265, followed immediately by 225 to failure , then a week before I'd do 245 for a rep test followed immediately with 225 to failure, at testing, we'd get teste on a 1 RM first, so 225 to failure felt like the bar after that, and all the conditioning work in previous weeks helped, I always thouht it was key to train for a conditioning test when you're tired, then when you do it fresh it will be that much easier.....
