how many members can rep 225 on bench press for 40 reps

just curious who can do 40 or more straight reps on bench press with 225lbs...............how many of you can do this..........40 reps is normal for me, with a superset of 80lb. dumbbells afterwards.
 
no its not for bragging rights, I feel 40- reps is attainable by anyone, my goal is to get to 50 reps by january, I never put over 225 on the bench, I just rep it and superset it with like 100lb dumbbells, so I achieve a burn as if I was benching 400lbs. ronnie coleman benches 225 for 75 reps.............sergio olivia never benched over 225 either, he just repped out and supersetted, you can attain a huge chest by other means than benching 500lbs.
 
how is this a stupid post, do you think im bullshittin, if you cant answer right dont respond.................you see guys on here sayin they have rotator cuff problems, well thats why repping 225, instead of doing 500 for 1 and 2 reps can be more healthy and less risk of injury, how many times can you rep 225 big guy?
 
Hmmmmmm..... not sure on that one. I don't do flat bench with a barbell anymore. Shoulder won't allow it. Car accident. Damn.

I do bench with dumbells... If I had to guess... I'd say I could get between 20 and 30 somewhere.

Pressin' 40 times... sounds pretty good.

I can do 25 reps of 315 on weighted dip... if that helps.
 
i warm up with that on flat for about 18-20 reps.....i have never tried anymore than that:)
 
well CN1 I honestly do not know since I have never tired.

I also have never tired to squat 300 pounds as many times as I can.

but my best total I have ever had is 1893 so I can hold my own.

my best bench: 503 in contest, but that was in 1994.

So I have no need to try and impress anyone been there done that

Also... do you count bouncing off the chest as well? I've seen skinny guys press 315. And it surprises me that they don't crush their ribcage in by how hard they bounce the bar of their chest.

I think form is more important than weight... so I don't personally count any sort of chest bounce as an actual rep. Momentum isn't a rep... it's a forced rep. So do you hit 40 clean reps, or just 40 reps period?
