By using Progressive overload on all your compound exercises. each workout you must either increase working weights or increase repitions.

I said concentration curls feel like an aerobic excersize because I don't feel shit in my bi's, all I feel is my breathing getting heavier from lifting. I NEVER said they WERE aerobic.

I guess I did do around 250, I didn't actually remember or check and figured you knew what I was talking about.

Every lift I do I always get either or a burn or pain. That is how I know when to stop, the pain or burn gets too much to the point where I can no longer bring the weight up. If you think this is the "wrong" way to lift, well I have been lifting this way for a year and have gotten amazing gains, so I could care less if you think it is wrong or right.

My point is I don't feel any pain or burn in my bi's anymore while lifting. Since those two are my only factors in my intensity, I am able to up my intensity alot (I was using dbs that were 20lbs heavier than my previous and felt that I could still go heavier.). I also had no swelling and my viens did not pop out in my bi's like they usually do. I am lifting correctly, I know how to lift. I am not cheating or anything like that.

Way to take things out of context Fitnessfrk. See that little phrase "more of," meaning a comparison. I did not say "Concentration curls are an areobic excersize." Plus you must take into consideration what I had previously said, "I can feel bar curls burning my forearms, but not doing shit for my bi's," with the context clues of this sentence, you can tell that I am not badgering the lift, I am saying it is not doing anything to me. With half a brain you can figure out that the next sentence will most likely be similar, since I did not make a new paragraph to badger the uselessness of lifts. By the way you read it, don't you find it weird that I would just throw that in for no reason? I am saying that NOW, to ME, it FEELS like an aerobic lift.

I swear... learn to fucking read and stop making assumptions. I guess I should stop making the assumption that the people of this board are smart enough to figure a simple wording out. Next time I'll write at a 1st grade level, since, obviously, a 2nd grade level is too high for you.

Damn. My biceps are often the limiting factor in my back work.

Gotta try to do 300 sets one lucky day.

Y'all, if you want your biceps to grow and their strength shoot through the roof (like on anabolics) do 250+ sets.

If I knew shit like 100 sets would make me any stronger I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I seriously doubt that increased strength is a factor of only neurological adaptation [100 sets takes synaptic facilitation to a whole new level]; you probably got bigger.

BTW, why MUST you feel pain??? There's no need to go to failure.

ssalexss-how much can you normally curl? db and bb?

First I usually dont curl.

But i can curl about 30-40 pounds. Very little I know. But that means nothing. My arms arent my strong point. Hey they increased in size alot, though their strength didnt went up a bit.

it is weird. I am good at functional strength lifts but not at "cosmetic frat boy lifts" .

Laugh all you want. I dont lie and act tough just because I can do it sitting behind my computer. Also I tell the truth (I could have easily said that I curl 75 pound dumbells)

I guess I need to do do some more 1 day arm marathons and end up like Advaik, gaining bicep strength like on anabolics.

250 sets for arms in one day should be made illegal, since it is that potent.

enough of my ranting.
