High Triglycerides?

I'm not sure if I need to post this here or in diet board, so here goes. One of my training partners just got her physical done and her overall cholesterol came back at a whopping 245! What has her and me concerned is her tris came in at 365 (i think) and for some reason I felt that those were high numbers for tris. Can someone enlighten me on what an average reading should be for a mid-40s woman? I realize this is a general question but I thought I could get some info here to help my friend out.

Thanks!:)

What was her LDL and HDL cholesterol? Trigs should be less than 250, like to keep mine below 150. 365 is pretty high. 245 is high for total C, but for a female, a large contribution may be HDL which is OK. Have to know what HDL and LDL are.

I dont remember right off hand what LDL was 135 I think:confused: HDL was a little low if I remember correctly. However, I did do a little more research on the triglycerides levels and printed out some info for her. I do appreciate the response though.

Thanks and have a great day!
