Bought a new gripper at sears last night. It's Nordictrak (sp) brand, & it's adjustable. Didn't wanna spring for the ones Sarge & cityhick where talking about until I'm actually strong enough to use them.

Wife & I also looked at a new recumbent bike/rower at Sears. Seems to be a good quality. I'll get the extended warranty though. Nice & quiet so we can use it while watching TV.


I hate when I screw up on weight like that.. At least you got both sides of the bar loaded with the same weight. A few times I would randomly be doing something and grab 2 different weighst not realizing it and wondering the whole time while I'm doing the exercise why one is heavier until I stop and look. Glad your cycle is over!! lmao...
 
Hey Bro how's she goin. Any help you can give me to pose a question or make a post or start a thread whatever you call it, I would like to hear from other members who might be suffering from the same condition as mine, are able to work out and get some definition and bulking when you have to guard arthritic joints. I am down to 185 and would like to tone it up for the ladies and myself
 
wish to stop muscle waisting as well, not sure of the reasons other than limited range of motion that is causing the muscle atrophy

Sunday, with a workout & Thanksgiving dinner.

3312 cals, 104g fat for 28.2%, 238.55g Protein for 28.8%, 356g Carbs for 43%
That's as close as I could guesstimate for the Thanksgiving dinner added.
So, that was pretty much my cheat day for the next 3 weeks, LOL.

Barbell Curls: 5X40, 5X60, 5X80, 3X95, 3X95, 3X95, 12X55 PR
Tricep Press: 5X40, 5X60, 5X80, 3X95, 3X95, 3X95, 19X60PR
Alternate D.B. Curls: 5X20, 5X30, 5X40, 3X45, 2X50, 1X45, 12X30PR This one is significant. First time ever curling 50lb D.B.s
Skull Krushers: 5X35, 5X55, 5X70, 3X85, 3X85, 16X50
Xbody Hammer Curls: 6X15, 5X20, 5X25, 3X30, 2 1/2X30, 14X25
Sit Ups: 4 sets of 20, 1 of 16, 1of 13

I did that once, while I was talking to the Mrs.. Left a 25 lb plate off one side. Almost dropped the friggin bar, LOL.
 
I got checked out yesterday in Canadian Tire. I'm not the type that usually gets checked out, but I looked at this 30something chick & she was giving me the once over, without the look of disgust I'm used too, LOL.
It's nice once in a while getting a little recognition for all this aggravation.
