1) hey any one take low carb lean body b4 bed? is that too many carbs? will 12 grams of carbs turn to fat or effect cutting even if it comes from a the good protein source lean body?

2)and can fast acting protein turn to fat like whey b4 bed? people said whey isolate gets absorbed 2 quick therefore protein is used as energy? tru?

thanks guys i trust u.,..just want advice ..noone else helpS-=)

no offense lady, but no one else helps because you don't use the search function, at all. 64 out of your 65 posts are threads you started. and half of them ask questions like, "is designer protein good" use the search button theres plenty of answers there.

Wow u are obsessed. Just use a quality concentrate b4 bed. Why ru so worried about carbs, u workout don't u? Just relax.

I try to take the minimal amount of carbs as possable before bed. 12 garms of carbs before bed should be fine and should not effect your body fat much if at all. I always drink whey isolate before bed, no specific reason it is just what I have always done

I should be more consistent with before bed shakes.

When I make them, the only carbs are from skim milk. 12-18 grams carbs, and 50-70 grams protein. I doubt that 12-18 grams of carbs will be enough to turn into fat. I use milk not for the carbs themselves, but because I believe it using milk slows down the digestion as opposed to using water, which is what I want since I won't be getting any more protein for 8 hours.

12g of carbs is not alot, you should be fine.

Although whey/isolate does digest faster I would definatly opt for a casien (time released/slower digesting) protein source before bed. Since your body is not taking in any protein during the night this can help greatly to aviod a cataboic state alot more than plain whey.
