You need to schedule in cheat meals every two weeks, and maybe even a decadent tasting but healthy treat every so often (think Chobani yogurt with/or one of those packs of 100 calorie cookies or something). If you keep things too restricted you're not doing your diet any good, anyway. You need to throw in an occasional, reasonable cheat to keep your metabolism perking along.
And believe me, I totally, totally understand the one is too many/1,000 is never enough ... boy do I ever. Becoming too obsessive about control is a razor edge, too though.
Remember something, girl, it's only food. You're smarter than the food. You're in control of it. Imagine food is fuel, your body is the car. Eating refined sugar is roughly the equivalent of using nitrous in a car. A brief, virtually uncontrollable blast.
