HELP Diet/ Exercise Advice for a Friend

Hey I have a friend who is going to the Bahamas Next sat...

She is a bigger girl.. (200lbs+), 5'5 and we won't even touch on the BF.

Anyhow.. she has asked me how to shape up the best she can in the next week and i am at a lose for words...

I am not sure if she should do cardio only or if i should actually have her incorporate some weights.. any advice would be appreciated..

She is currently on no exercise program... I'm just tryin to help out :)
 
Foods she should avoid.. or incorporate would be appreciated to..

I understand long term goals and trying to meet them, but not sure if those same rules apply to short time frams as well :(
 
Start her out with weitghts 3 times a week and cardio 3 times a week HITT cardio is probably best. Get her lifting first then do the cardio after lifting. Diet is simple 10X body weight for cutting the split it 40% protien 30% carbs 30% fat. Absolutly no white flower or over processed foods as mm was saying. Best protien options are lean sorces chicken, fish, flank steak, eye of round, whey, eggs whites etc. Carbs yams, rolled oats, brown rice, etc. Fats natty pb, olive oil, flax oil etc. Veggies get her to fill up on greens and dash of the other ones but primarly greens. Cheat meal once a week to keep her sanity.
 
Well the diet and exercise program im on I lost 10 lbs in 2.5 weeks and ive actuallt lost close to 15 lbs in 2.25 weeks. I on high protein, NO processed sugar diet. I excerise and cardio every day. I ve gained strength and have lost alot of fat! Tell your freind if she REALLY wants to lose the pounds, she has got to REALLY want it and stick to a tight diet and exercise plan.
 
Oh shit I just read that she is looking to do this in a week you should know CC there are no quick fixs it is a complete lifestyle change.
 
She knows, CC had an amazing tranformation as well, she's trying to help in any way she can - I gotcha girl :)

Losing too much weight too fast is NOT healthy no matter how you do it... hmm even though I did document that I can lose 11 lbs in day due to my water intake :rolleyes:

CC- what does she think about starting a program, even after the cruise?
 
Tell her to starve herself (drinking only protein/slim fast shakes), run on a treadmill for 8 hours straight, and take water pills every 4 hours.
Kinda ridiculous to wait till a vacation to diet. It's a life changing event, not a one week cram...
 
Reschedule the vacation???

The Hollywood Liquid Diet or whatever that was -- drop about 10 lbs water weight in 3 days.
