Hey There,
Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to you guys. I have been utilizing this board mainly for research purposes for several months now, and feel compelled to speak up and hopefully contribute to other EF members, as I have learned so much from you via your posts.
The women's board is an awesome platform for us to share our experiences with nutrition, training, and how we respond to different supplements/compounds!
A brief snapshot of my background:
I was very active as a child, and wanted to be an American Gladiator by age 11
Became a personal trainer in my early twenties and wanted to compete in a local figure contest in MA. Unfortunately I decided to "diet myself down" without any real nutritional strategy or guidance. I ended up at 112lbs 9%BF on my 5'6 medium sized frame. As you can imagine, I looked as awful as I felt.
After 4 years of recovering from the experience, rebuilding my body, and strengthening my mind, I am contemplating competing somtime in the near future. Regardless of whether or not I step on stage, I am VERY disciplined in my nutrition and training. I never look at it as a chore or a sacrifice, I am absolutely 100% dedicated to this lifestyle that I love.
Well enough about me, I hope I have the opportunity to learn more and to chat with you all at some point soon!
Best,
Abbey
