Ok.. Dieting, lifting and cardio
My heartrate doesn't really elevate much while lifting but when I'm doing cardio (treadmill-and yes I work my arms while on the damn thing) I can get my heartrate to stay anywhere from 130 to 170 if I want to by varying my speed and hand movements(usually weighted martial arts moves).
Where is the ideal place for your heart rate to be if your goal is to shed unwanted fat and gain general cardiovascular fitness?
