Ok, most of my boys do not lift or if they do don't take it to seriously. And I moved so the gym I go to I just workout by myself.Which I perfer anyway.I don't like people talking to me, when I'm working out.But I have no one to really compare my stats with.I just want to know if my numbers are descent for my size.Compared to some of you guys.

I'm 5"11 185 lbs

Bench Press- 265lbs 5-Reps

Dead Lift-375 5 reps

Well I just listed those 2 are those good numbers. 22 yrs old

Those are good bro. How long have you been lifting?

I'm 5'9, about 180 now, 20 years old. Been liftin off and on since high school, but it was like 90% off, 10% on. Really only started getting serious about 1.5-2 years ago.

Bench - 1 RM at 285 right now, but I'm testing it next week
Dead - 1 RM at a pretty lousy 315. Testing that too. It should be much higher soon.
Squat - Testing it next week. I'll get back to you.

I've been lifting on and off too.But I've always had a weightbench so I use to just bench curl and anything else I could whenever sometimes like 5 times a day.i never got a nice build to lately since I've been working out right. But just from always benchin and shit like that when I was younger i just stayed pretty strong.

Scout,

Your numbers are great, but don't get too carried away with comparing what you lift to others, it means nothing (unless your looking to compete in powerlifting).

Oh I know I hardly ever really max out I usually only go up to like 225 for reps in Bench.I like low weights with a nice slow motion than a one two count at bottom than raise back up nice and slow.I do this with every exercise.I've been gettin great results in my bodytone since I started training like this on a regular.

They look pretty respectable for your size. If you are able to get 5 reps at 265lbs on your bench, your max is probably around 305lbs. Your maximum deadlift is around 430lbs. If you look at the ratio:

305 / 185 = 164% of your bodyweight on BENCH
430 / 185 = 232% of your bodyweight on DEADS

Excellent work!!

Your bench numbers match up perfectly with mine. I'm 5'9 @ 190 lbs and rep 265. Just started dead lifting last week so I really cant comment on it... I can only hope to get up that high some day.
