Grippers

I don't know about crushing big hands, just that I own both brands and that's how they stack up for me.

The No3 COC is so hard I can't hardly move it. Even Mark Felix from WSM had to practice for a week before he could do an "unofficial" No3 close.

I'd also say that because the HG are cheaper, they are probably less standardised meaning that there is probably a fair difference between different grippers of the same rating.

I see what you're saying.

Either way, I love my heavy grips...and enjoy the feeling of having so much power in my hands

Just to be clear Alc - I wasn't trying to say my grip is stronger or anything like that, I'm sure it isn't!

Anyhow I'd recommend you get 'ahold' of a COC 2.5 and see how you like it!

haha it's all good bro, I don't really compare myself to anyone...I compete and try to beat myself ONLY

not too sure I would spend the extra money to pick one up...my grippers get the job done

So if I got the Coc #1 and #2, I could work on closing the number one for like 10 reps, then work toward closing the #2 eventually. I think I'm going to go with that combo.

I just ordered the 100 pound and 200 pound heavy grips. I wanted to order the captains of crush ones but they ended up being $54 for 2 with shipping and tax, while I got the heavy grippers for $35 shipped. Thanks for all the advice guys!:D

Anything under 250 lbs for HG is easy IMO

Just an update: Somehow I ended up with 2 150lb heavy grips instead of the 200 and the 150. The 150 turned out the be really easy, and once I warmed up right after my workout I closed it for 20 full reps(handles touching each time) on both arms, although my left arm was harder than my right. So if I got the 250 would I be able to close it for one rep? Thanks!

I close the 250 lbs grip a couple of reps easy but I can only close the 300 lb gripper halfway, so I'm not too sure...
