louden_swain, no eyewitness that I saw. There were a few peeps playing frisbee but they were pretty far off. Doubt they saw anything.

Project -- Thinking about it now, yeah, I should have called the cops or something. 20/20 hindsight...oh well, I'm just glad my arm isn't hamburger.

I'm a dog owner and you didn't do anything wrong, at all. You were protecting yourself. That dog was not playing. That dog was out for blood. What a stupid owner!!!! God, people like that give animals a bad name. I knew from day one of getting a dog that they can be weapons. They are animals and can't control themselves. I would never, ever unleash him in a park. That's just common sense.
