getting a compliment

Yesterday I saw my aunt for the first time in 7 weeks. Right when she saw me she said "boy you sure have been hitting those weights havent ya" getting big". Makes me want to go lift even harder. When people notice the hard work it sure boosts the motivation to lift up a notch

yea i love that. i lost 35 pounds since hte beginning of my senior year this year in high school. and i was in the security ofice the other day cuz i was in trouble, and all the secutiry guards (who know me very well) were all like "man lee, yer lookin pretty good, i can tell youve been loosin weight and workin out a lot." made me feel so good, just makes me wanna work harder.

its encouraging for me, but at the same time i dont take compliments well. i tend to belittle compliments. "im trying hard" or "could be better". :(

i wish compliments meant more to me.

if somebody's intimidated of you, is it wrong to sometimes take that as a compliment?

Only if you want them to be, Jeremys! ;)

I hear that about the compliments though, it's so nice. I'm usually quite humble myself though. I always tell people I can always be beaten, and always need improvement. Not that it'll happen, but if I was the strongest person in the world I still would say that... I'll never stop training.

I train for myself and don't pay too much attention to what people think, but compliments do make it all the more worthwhile.

I also train for myself, but compliments boost my self esteem and make me wanna work harder for myself. its all about self respect.

I've havent seen my aunt in 6-8 months. I weighed about 185lbs then. And I saw her last week - me at 202lbs.
Just wearing a fairly loose t-shirt and long baggy shorts, like how I do in my clips.

She asked my mum, what was wrong with me, I look all "swollen" - her exact words :)

Yep I'm officialy SWOLE :spit:
