Looks damn good LM! Props!

Yes you feel like shit all the time. I've made some people (including my bosses) scratch their heads and wonder why I was such a bitch when I'm usually very nice. Low carb day. Its exhausting. Its the biggest mindfuck you will ever put yourself thru. But its also one of the most amazing achievements and really brings you up a notch in what you believe you can do in your life. But usually the biggest thing people don't realize is that it truly is more a mental thing than a physical thing. Trying to stay in a tight and very restricted and unexciting pattern of existence for 3+ months. Having no more free time. Being exhausted all the time. Foot cramps in the middle of the nite & you have to get up and do 5 am cardio on 3 hrs of sleep. The training I never had a problem with - loved it! The diet, the cardio, the food prep all sucked moose balls.

And the really funny thing about it - say you make it thru that first show -- you really wonder wtf you are doing all the way up to competition day. But once you are on stage, it all seems worth it. But the absolutely psychotic thing is if you go back and do it again - this time KNOWING the size of the mindfuck....
that is so true. I know a couple times I have actually said "this isnt to bad?" lol...

Iam still 5'5"...lol. I weight down from 217. Doing cardio 3-4 days a week right now trying to get down to 190. Diet is close to a contest diet...I broke my back right after that show so it has been a long road back to training. I can't say Iam "bigger" or "smaller" but needed to lose the bodyfat for sure from the lack of having the best diet. I joke about having "back fat"...
well goals this year is to hit jr nationals as a lightweight (154). The michigan I weighed in at 172 and had about 10 pds easy to lose plues water weight. At that show I never cut water. just trained up until the day before and put some protan on and went onstage. That rountine....haaha..made it up while I was posing. (if you couldnt tell).
Oh yeah...Iam 34

Whats wrong with 5'5? LOL Poor me!

Yep liven it now ....3 weeks out crabs between 90 and 110, getting dry and leaner

Feel good in the gym and when I feed...other the that feel like Sh$t@ !

On also a pro once told me as a middle weight if you look big in your street cloths you not ready to be on stage ! (of course if your a super heavy weight You look baig 24-7 lol)

Some days are better than others........................

When I complained to my coach that I am hungry and tired all the time, she said that is what it is like to diet.

I have had to get someone to drive me home the 15 min walk cause I knew I would'nt be able to do it after training.

This year, doing three days low carb, then one day high has made it somewhat easier, but is is a complete trial by fire..........
