Fitness Log

outa curiosity why don't you push your heels into the ground during your bench? helps to generate a lot of force

So ark's post about his planks reminded me: I need to remember to do core work every workout. So my new schedule is:

Monday: Squats and assistance+ core
Tuesday: Miltary press and assistance +core
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: Bench press and and assistance +core
Friday: Deadlift and assistance +core

Monday core: bodysaws (mayve weighted)
Tuesday core: L-sit pullups
Thursday core: Turkish getups
Friday core: weighted and bw planks

How does this look for core? Soon I'm gonna add 5 days of cardio and bodyweight exercises too

Turkish sit-ups are very time-consuming. I'd do jackknife abs on a swiss ball or use the ab roller.

Throw in reneage rows somewhere. They're good as well :)

Sorry guys I have like 4 log entries to update but here's the carido I just did:

Sunday 7/4/10
Hill run in hot sun not sure of distance
At the top of the hill in sand:

Circuit:

Repeated 3 times:
20 pushups
30 seconds flutter kicks
30 bicycle crunches

90 secs rest after 2 completiions

repeated 3 times
10 pushups
15 secs flutter kicks
15 bicycle crunches

Comments: I needed a lot of rest for these, 90 secs after 2 reps of the 1st circuit and like 90 secs in between some of the last ones. Not good. It was hot out though, but I'm really going to stress cardio ad bodyweight endurance from now on
