First prolotherapy treatment yesterday. Training in sight

Well, my third prolo treatment was this morning. Both shoulders front and back and both tricep insertions at the elbow. This 3rd treatment he mixed some sodium morate(mourate? i dunno) in with the dextrose injections. It fucking hurts right now so fucking bad i can hardly stand it!!
However....:supercool.....In 10 days or so when the tendons dont hurt to touch I get to start training light and see how it goes.
I did a light back/bi on saturday and a light chest/tri/shoulders yesterday just for the purpose of trying to makle things sore and see if i had made progress. Thats the only workout i have done since the one i did before the last treatment for the same reason.
I am excited to say that both workouts were a success. My shoulders didnt burn during any of it. During lat pull downs and bicep curls i started to feel a slight annoyance on the infraspinatus...rear outside.(sp??) But that was it. I did BB flat bench which i never do cause it always bothered my shoulders and it was pain free. I did machine overhead press and it was good too. Aside from the weights feeling like they weigh a million pounds....:(

On another good note I have lost 32 lb of lard ass in the last 8-9 weeks too. Another 20 to go. Well...whenever the side pec fat is gone...its so gross. I got fucking fat from august last year until i got off my ass 10 weeks ago.

good luck!

soft tissue injuries suck. Prolo is a great alternative to the knife definitely look into it.

the problem with soft tissue injuries, tendons or ligaments, is that they receive very little blood flow. anything you can do to increase bloodflow to the tendon or ligament is going to help.

I wouldnt see surgery doing any good for persistent tendonitis that wont go away anyways. The good thing about prolo is that it causes collagen and fiber regeneration too. Even if all goes well (slowly) when I resume training I'm still going to keep going and have him hit some alternate areas for good measure.

great to hear man, keep us updated as im considering this for my elbow tendonitis

Dont consider.....DO! It works. My right shoulder is extremely sore still 48 hrs later. I think he might have gotten into an attatchment a little cause it hurts to lift my arm in front of me or across my body (seat belt ect.)
