Finasteride bp

[FONT=&quot]I started finasteride three weeks ago with a 5mg dose every morning, since then my bp has been fine except for friday morning when i took it, reading was 163/67. I though oh well not a big deal, as everyone in my family has high blood pressure and thought i would wait and check it today. Well todays reading is 167/89 as of right now. Could the fina be causing my bp to go up? Im always dealing with high blood pressure but never this high, this is very unusual. thanks[/FONT]

actually, finasteride lowers blood pressure and at times has caused abnormally low blood pressure...

I doubt it's the finasteride, but it definitely has it's own problems

Not really a fan of its use.

It can lower PB, and to be honest it has a whole host of side effects.
