2 quick questions for ya guys:

1) I notice a lot of people on here eat peanuts before they go to bed, what exactly is it about peanuts that make this a good time to eat them?

2) On creatine, tons of water is a must...does mixing anything with water matter? for instance would drinking a lot of crystal light be okay....its all water basically anyway, or koolaid w/ spelda?

NUTS??????????? WHO EATS NUTS!!!!!!!!!!! lol...oh man.....who is he referring to??????????? lol........hey bro - what works for one, may not work for another......

Crystal light is cool..........water in its natural state is the number one choice, but the rest will work as well...........

The last meal of the day should usually consist of protein and fats to help fight catabolism. Carbs are usually not recommended since they will have a high tendency to turn into fat during such a prolonged sedentary state (sleep). So people will usually have something like a chicken breast (protein) and a handful of peanuts or any other kind of nut for their fat content. Some people can eat carbs before bed and it will have no efect on them (so they claim). You can do what you feel is best or whatever works for you.

As JKurz stated, good ole H2O is the best choice. Why bother with shit like kool-aid?

while taking creatine try to minimize your exposure to diuretics, caffiene being one of them. These will hinder creatines effectiveness and essentially you'll just be wasting it.

Really?

okay, the fats is what i figured, thanks. And crystal light is 5 cals/12 ounces or whatever...and its just water and the packet...

why bother? well, i dont really like water too much unless im really thirsty, but i love crystal light....and since its mostly water, i was just wondering if its okay to use to up water intake.

What up with some proof on this?

Any one else know if it's true?

I drink plenty of coffee every morning and take creatine pre workout in the evening. I am just pissing it away?

Let me preface this by saying I do not believe it because logically it makes no sense...

in GNC's latest magazine this month it said "a recent study suggests there is no negative correlation between using caffeine and creatine at the same time"

of course this is right in the middle of an artcile where they are pushing caffeine and creatine use

My understanding is part of creatine's effect is that it draws more water into your muscles. Caffeine is a diuretic so I would think they are not a good combo.
