feeling faint (1st shot)

hey im feeling a bit better now. that was fucking scary. like the time i snorted protein powder for a dare. dont ask me why. i could have easily fainted there but didnt want to knock myself out incase i didnt wake up. if i decide to do another injection ill get someone else to do it for me.
does anyone think maybe it could be an allergic reaction to sus maybe. but maybe i would be vomitting or something then.

Stop worrying so much about hitting veins, guys!!! In order to do any real harm to yourself, you'd have to inject like a whole 3cc syringe of air directly into an artery. Hittling piddly little veins isn't going to do jack, and a tiny bit of air is nothing to worry about. Tapping your syringe and trying to eliminate a few little bubbles is a waste of time. RELAX! Or bodies aren't nearly that frail.

Me and my buddies went down to mex and injected every week. Well the first time my buddy injected he was fine until we got to the border check. He was pail and all sweaty, he looked like shit. As soon as we passed the through the guy passes out. Scared the crap out of me! A few seconds later he was awake and we took him home. He called his doc and told him what happened. Come to find out it was justa panic attack. Call your doc it made my buddy feel much better after speaking to him. He still feels faint now and then, he is such a puss. Take it easy

Congratulations !!!

Bet ya can't wait till the next one. :D

Alright, I'm just messin with ya. One thing you might want to do is have a glass of OJ with you next time. It could help if you're feeling faint.

I have no problems injecting (crossing my fingers). But, when I have blood taken I get messed up. I usually have to lay down for a couple minutes, then sit for a minute or two before I can stand up. Otherwise, blackout city baby !! It has gotten better over the years though.

I think if I had it done each week I'd be fine. But when you only have something like that done maybe once a year, you can't really get used to it.

You'll get better with the injections. Just make sure you do it when you're feeling calm, don't rush it, and give yourself a few minutes to relax after the shot. Trust me, the first one is the toughest. Welcome to the club !!

"Hittling piddly little veins isn't going to do jack, and a tiny bit of air is nothing to worry about."

That is not true - pumping the smallest bit of air into a vein can cause death or stroke. Its a known fact. Yes, the more air pumped the greater the risk. Its not something I would do on a dare. If you are injecting into muscle and you have a little air - thats a different story.

I personally have given hundreds upon hundreds of injections to tons of people at work and let me tell you, you will not die from either injecting small bubbles of air into a muscle or even into a vein, there is no way it can kill you, I've done it to myself and others and ...nothing. You'd have to inject a good 3cc's with a lot of force into a main artery, otherwise..forget it. As for aspirating and hitting veins, good luck. How will you know when you hit a vein? You won't, aspirating won't and doesn't do anything. Next time you shoot in your quad and you aspirate, tell me if you don't get blood in the syringe, you definately will, 'cause there is blood there, that's why. Even if you were to hit a vein chances are you'd pass the needle right through it, it's unlikely that you'd hit right on and be able to inject right into it, most junkies can't even hit there veins properly. If your good at injecting in proper sights, then there is little if any risk of hitting veins. And even in the unlikely event that you did, believe me the worst thing that would happen is maybe a little nausea or dizziness. I give at least 5 injections/ day of POWERFUL mind sedating anti-psychotics and nobody has ever died in front of me or had any problems.

I once read a news article about what happen to a guy
that was doing a blood transplant before a bike race that
got air in is blood stream. It took 20 mins for him to die and
he screamed the whole time.

any way. I used to hate injection days and would breath hard
and now I LOVE IT i get a adrenaline rush from doing it.

USE A ICE CUBE NEXT TIME you dont even feel it go in.
