The last couple of weeks, since giving up milk (to see whether it improves a headache condition) I have been going to the toilet contiously on my first bulk.
I'm trying to consume 3500-4000 calories on a bulk, and my weight is only 70-71kg. So far I'm happy with what is happening on the bulk except my body can't seem to take it - I'm averaging 5-6 stops daily at the toilet. I have had a look at the shits, and often it just seems like food is not being digested (i.e., I can see carrots, red capsicums, and brocolli). Perhaps my inefficient digestion accounts for my high calorie needs given my weight.
Basically, my diet is
- Meals 1-4: 400 grams sweet potatoe, + either 150 grams of either tuna, salmon, or chicken breast + 50 grams of either red capsicums, cabbage, or carrot. Sometimes oats + eggs replaces one of these meals. Oats + eggs causes too much farts though so I have it less now.
- Meals 5-6: 400-500 grams of Mixed veggies (carrot, brocolli, spinach, cabbage, red capsicums, cauli) + 150 grams of chicken/steak + 20 grams of flax seeds.
- Meals 7-8 (normally I wake up several times during the night as have always been a poor sleeper, and I will stuff 100 grams of fish/chicken in me before going back to sleep once or twice per night)
(on workout days, I have white potatoes + tuna for PWO as can't have whey b/c headache condition).
I recognise that the above is a lot of fibre - (about 100 grams).
What can I do to reduce the shitting, other than being on immodiam constantly? I take probiotics. Sweet potatoe is my clean carb of choice, but is there a lower fibre clean carb choice that may inflict less bowel damage. I know drinking milk will improve this problem but I'm trying to avoid it at the moment.
