face problems need help!

my acne is worse than mos though, and i haven't had clear skin in about 3 years. If i can get this over and done with in 6 months then so be it. I don't drink so that isn't a problem. I smoke the occasional joint or two to relax.

this is irrelevant. Your dermo will give you advice that you should not ignore. Personally, I would take the weakest dose of accutane available and see what you get out of it.

man from about grade 8 up until a 2yrs ago (19 now) mine was horrible,mad volcanic acne,I was on everything but accutane and its now gone to very very mild acne,some red marks and a bit of bacne but I would def reccomend accutane ,I didnt have a insurance plan until last year so I didnt get the stuff,but acne sure makes teen life hard ,so really try accutane or wait it out and you will probably grow out of it

well i went to the derrmo and she put me on minocyclin and tazorac ( a Retin-a product stronger than Differn) she said that we'll try that out with a benzo peroxide in the morning and see how that goes. if that fails then accutane here i come. hopefully retin a will be my savior. I was wondering if i should completely stop shaving with my mach3 and just use my electric. I could see how the manual would agitate my face more. Also she said i should use eucerin or neutrogena mouisturizers. does anyone have a better alternative? thanks guys.

do not use minocyclin. It will clear your face but if you don't plan to use it for the rest of your life or until your acne goes away (could be age 25), then its a bad idea. All antibiotics only work while your taking them and then your acne comes back very strong when you stop, even worse then when you first had it. Believe me my fathers a doctor so I have tryed ever cdamn antiboiotic out there. The tazorac is fine but will just take a month or more to start working.

just out of curiosity, what is ACCUTANE???
is it a cream or what?

i was just wondering because i am already on pills but they haven't got rid of it, and i'm taking about 8 a day ( not too good for my liver), are these Accutane any good 'cause if they are i might get some?!?
