Do you still gain while cutting?

I've been bulking for almost 3 months, I've gained a shit load of weight. I am 6'5" weighed 210 (already heavy) and now hitting 230ish- I got the man boobs and everything LOL

My gains have been great, but I am still pretty small considering how much I have been lifting...I am supposed to be built like Eric Foreman from that 70's show, I just got a lot of extra weight (not that bad, but I have some really skinny wrists and ankles)

Bench went from a whopping 60lbs (yah I know, I was horribly out of shape) to a 140ish-

I wanna cut down, but I don't want to lose what I have gained!

Depends on how bad ass you are

Yes, it's possible.

Will YOU do it... who knows.

You said you want to cut down but not loose what you've gained
... I think you're confused, lol

Are you talking about strength gains? If so, then yes you can get stronger even while cutting. Muscle gains? You will lose some muscle along with the fat. Just want to make sure the majority is fat.

Not true. I've gained LBM (lean body mass) and dropped fat... using diet, training and cardio.

I know others that have too. It's not easy... but very possible.

I meant I wanted to cut down on fat, but not lose my muscle-

I finally feel like I'm getting in shape, but my pants are getting tight LOL Harder than hell to find 36X40 pants, and even harder to find 38X40s if I keep going at this rate. =P

Not to be an anus but if you just started lifting as it seems from the progress you have made in your bench press I doubt that you have made any serious gains in muscle mass yet, strength yes. You don't want to be a fat ass and the whole thing about having moobs? that's not cool. When bulking you want as much of that weight to be clean as possible. If you got moobies Im thinking you simply put on a ton of fat and you are still out of shape.

Well my arms are a lot bigger than they were, not fat either, I don't have the nasty old lady arms....

My pecks are a lot bigger muscle wise, but I got some man boobs on their to-

I've always been overweight, just not this extreme in a while...hell I weighed 310lbs coming out of highschool and took 70lbs of it off my first year in college.

I may not be "in shape" but I'm better off than where I was-

Thats cool... You should probably continue lifting consistently, get your diet straight, do some cardio and lower your bf% before bulking otherwise the majority will be fat. That's awesome that you decided to do something about being overweight. Keep up the good work.

I'm very jealous. My genetics don't allow me to do that. I think I would need gear to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time.
