Dirty~D~'s journey to recovery - first 90 days

:worried: :worried: :worried:

Brad.

Week 6 isn't worth posting. I had one workout the entire week and it was not post worthy. We'll just call it WEAK. :(

Tonight's legs went VERY well. Squats didn't change, but felt good. Deads went up 20lbs and burned... I LOVE it! I was pumped after that so I decided to punish myself for last week... walking lunges along the back wall of the gym. :worried: HOLY SHIT! Punishment is the only way to put it. On the last step of the last set my legs gave out on me, almost. I couldn't flop to the floor.. I had eyes watching. LOL, damn teenagers. You'd think they'd never seen someone do lunges before.

Damn those lunges! Every time I have to move my legs I feel like I'm going to puke. Mmmmmmmmm pain.

Had a sports massage tonight so no lifting... don't want to hyper extend. :) Water water water.

Last WEAK was beyond embarrassing. :( Thanks for keeping track of me chica. How is your recovery going?

Yeah...I keep track of people alright! LOL! I'll be tracking your ass speeding down Orchard, Just kidden!

I'm GOOD. I'm feeling better everyday. In the AM my tummy is flat and tiny but by evening it's swell hell (as they say in the plastic surgery forum, lol)

:bigkiss:

Orchard is the only street I can speed on in your part of town... I gotta! ;)

I'm glad to read of your speedy recovery. When you're up for that walk around the golf course just give me a jingle. :)

I do the same thing, I haven't posted any of my lifts as they didn't progress, but I think that this is valuable as well.

There are times that you stagnate or feel weaker, and identifying what it is or that it just happens sometimes, and there isn't anything wrong is also nice for other people to know.

Life got in the way of me lifting through week 6. Sometimes that just happens. It's part of the process so I feel it's important to share, even if I feel like a lamo for not lifting. If my weaknesses can help someone else get stronger then I'm fine with that. :)
