Deadlifting my way to Happiness - Al420's log

Yesterdays workout:

Power Clean: 95x5x3, 135x3x6 - no real rest - just doing these as a very active warm up

Deadlift: 135x10, 185x10, 225x6, 275x6, 315x6, 365x4

HS Row: 4 plates x20x2

Lat Pull: 185x20x2

Jump Shrug: 185x20x2

Knee is fine doing deads and I get fairly low - not sure what's up there. Playing w/ some 20's to see if the higher rep work will ease up on my tendons - seems like every week I get a new twinge or something...

Massage is set for Tuesday - I am ready...

What's your hand position? Over/over... over/under? Sticking to Over/Over may help narrow the "twinge" issue?? ...maybe, just a thought.

Thanks Sarge. On DL's it's a chalky Over/Under till 365 then I use Over/Over w/ tampon strings wraped around my wrists and the bar (some refer to as straps). I have switched jerking off to only overhand - feels more better IMO. :qt:

Yep - 222 this AM. I will unvail my upcoming "plans" next week but I am going to loose some fat and get a lot bigger/stronger/faster this year.

Todays workout:

CGBP: 95x10x2, 135x5, 155x5, 175x5, 135x17

Seated DB Military: 40's x10, 50's x10, 60's x8

Cybex Decline: 40 per x20x2

Seated Smith Press (clavicle to full ext, head in front): 95x20x2

Went to the bathroom and puked - puked on the way there but was able to travel w/ said puke in mouth for 60 yards. I stopped breathing for a few reps I think. My endurance is dog shit - this is changing.

Front Squat: 95x15, 135x5, 155x5, 185x5, 205x5 - all held in clean grip!! If it weren't for grip I think I would be in the 275x5 range

SLDL: 135x12, 185x20, 185x20 - W O W

Cybex Leg Press: 120x20x2 - single leg

Cybex Prone Leg Curl: 70x20, 90x20

Limped to the parking lot...

Today was slated to be an off day but I felt like training so I did.
 
al I am with you bro....keep that shit hoppin.....im gonna catch you one day soon.....just need to open my muscle memory suitcase which I don't have the key for.
